New 'On Stranger Tides' Featurette Takes on 'Pirates of the Caribbean' History

 New "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" featurette has been released online. The video opens with a brief summary about the history of the "Pirates of the Carribean" attraction and its film adaptation. The fresh preview also features Captain Barbossa's ghost who says, "You best start believin' in ghost stories. You're in one."

On another "On Stranger Tides" news, Walt Disney Pictures has announced that the proceeds of the movie's 3D world premiere will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Coming Soon reported that Rich Ross, the chairman of the studio, has announced to give away 100% of the money from the ticket sales to the organization.

The fourth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series revolves around Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) who crosses path with Angelica (Penelope Cruz), a woman from his past. When Angelica forces him aboard Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Sparrow finds himself cruising an unexpected journey to the fabled Fountain of Youth.

"On Stranger Tides" is made in 3D and will open wide in U.S. theaters on May 20. Beside Depp, Geoffrey Rush also reprises his role as Barbossa. Other stars supporting the film are the likes of Stephen Graham, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, and Sam Claflin. Rob Marshall serves as the helmer for the comedy movie.
