New 'Deathly Hallows' Clip: Potter and Friends Versus the Malfoys

Warner Bros. Pictures has shared another scene from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" in a clip. It gives preview to a battle in Malfoy Manor involving the three young wizards and the Malfoys themselves. When the situation is unfavorable for Harry and his friends as Hermione is taken hostage by Bellatrix, Dobby comes to their rescue.

In the upcoming November 19 release, Harry, Ron and Hermione will leave Hogwarts and mingle with humans while embarking on a mission to find and destroy the Horcruxes - the secret to Voldemort's power and immortality. In the meantime, Harry is drawing ever closer to the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

The follow up, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" will be released next on July 15, 2011 in 3-D. David Yates serves behind the camera for these last two "Harry Potter" movies.

As "Harry Potter" is getting close to the final installment, it has just been revealed that Steven Spielberg once circled the franchise. According to Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex, the acclaimed filmmaker proposed to make an animated version based on a couple of the books, but Warner Bros. Pictures President Alan Horn was not into the idea.

"I did think it would be worthwhile for Steven Spielberg to direct," Horn said. "We offered it to him. But one of the notions of Dreamworks' and Steven's was, 'Let's combine a couple of the books, let's make it animated,' and that was because of the [visual effects and] Pixar had demonstrated that animated movies could be extremely successful. Because of the wizardry involved, they were very effects-laden. So I don't blame them. But I did not want to combine the movies, and I wanted it to be live action."
