Irish pop stars Westlife have vowed never to split and pursue solo careers - because they're convinced life is more fun in a boy band. The "Swear It Again" hitmakers were rocked when singer Brian McFadden quit the group in 2004, sparking fears the band was over for good.
But the four remaining members stayed together and continued to enjoy chart success - and singer Shane Filan is adamant a break-up is not on the horizon.
He tells Britain's Sunday Mirror, "It just doesn't appeal to us. We are happy the way we are. We enjoy making our music, touring and performing. There are four of us in the band and nobody has any plans to go out alone." But the four remaining members stayed together and continued to enjoy chart success - and singer Shane Filan is adamant a break-up is not on the horizon.
Bandmate Kian Egan adds, "We won't be doing this when we're 60 years old but for now we're happy in all areas of our career in Westlife."
