First Trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman's Thriller 'Mother's Day'

From "Saw 2" helmer Darren Lynn Bousman comes "Mother's Day" which is definitely not about a tender loving mom. A trailer which was used as a sales promo in Germany has now landed online, giving a look at the wicked mother, portrayed by Rebecca De Mornay, who keeps her blank expression while hiding her bad intention.

The story starts as three brothers, on the run from the law, head for home only to discover that their mother lost the house in a foreclosure. They proceed to manipulate and torture the new tenants, as well as friends who are there for a party, until the brothers' mother shows up to straighten everything out. And that's when things get really messed up.

"Mother's Day" is a remake to 1980 film of the same title. The upcoming thriller will present a lot of torturing scenes with a basis in reality that makes them much more frightening. Starring also Jaime King and Shawn Ashmore, the movie will hit limited U.S. theaters on April 1.
