New "Toy Story" short which has been reported in the past few months has finally been previewed in pictures. Coming out via a printed edition of Entertainment Weekly's latest issue, one of the photos shows Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Dolly and some other toys who stare at something with sad expression. The other image features Ken and Barbie wearing picnic outfits, and Mr. Pricklepants donning a fish costume.
Titled "Hawaiian Vacation", the 6-minute short starts as "Barbie and Ken bungle plans to stow away on a tropical excursion," so the publication writes. The short's director Gary Rydstrom also dishes on the story, "Woody becomes kind of like what's-his-name on 'Love Boat'...Captain Stubing! As toys who get played with all the time, they have a pretty good imagination, when it's time for a little playacting, they're good at it." "Hawaiian Vacation" will premiere in front of "Cars 2" which is debuted in U.S. cinemas on June 24. Another "Toy Story" short reportedly will come out with "The Muppets" when it opens November 23 Stateside.
