Justin Bieber's Fans Posted Nasty Comments After Grammy Lost

Angry Justin Bieber fans attacked an online biography about Esperanza Spalding on Sunday, February 13 after the jazz performer beat the "Baby" hitmaker to the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.

The little-known bassist and singer was the surprise winner of the accolade, beating more established competitors Bieber, Drake, Florence and the Machine and Mumford & Sons to walk away with the title at the Los Angeles ceremony.

The Grammy upset sparked outrage among the teenage pop sensation's devotees, prompting them to seek revenge on Spalding's Wikipedia.com profile by posting nasty messages on the page, which is edited by members of the public.

After an introductory note about Spalding's big win, one furious fan wrote: "JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAY?" Another, more obscene insult read: "SHE IS F**KING RETARD (sic) THAT NO ONE HAS HEARD OF SO B**CH PLEASE DIE!"
