Charles Xavier Meets Mystique in Fresh Clip for 'X-Men: First Class'

"X-Men: First Class" is just a week away from its release date, and 20th Century Fox delivers two fresh sneak-peeks from the anticipated superhero movie. One is a clip which focuses on the first meeting between Charles Xavier and Raven Darkholme a.k.a. Mystique, who changes herself into Charles' mother to deceive him. In the other snippet, Darwin is seen saving Angel from whatever happens to her. 

"X-Men: First Class" is coming out in the U.S. on June 3. It charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga before mutants revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto. 

Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants to prevent war. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men. 

James McAvoy portrays Charles, while Michael Fassbender stars as Erik. Edi Gathegi takes the role of Darwin, and Zoe Kravitz plays Angel. January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence, and Lucas Till are among other actors supporting the Matthew Vaughn-directed movie, which will arrive in theaters Stateside on June 3.
