Britney Speaks Out

Britney Spears has been accused of sexual harassment by a former bodyguard.

Fernando Flores has filed a lawsuit against the superstar claiming "sexual harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress."
But a spokesperson for Britney has belittled the claims with a statement on her official website: "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself.

"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."
And the singer isn't the only family member to speak out. Her ex-husband's lawyer has also made a statement saying that the accusations have been fabricated.

Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said: "He (Kevin) is satisfied that the allegations are a product of economic motives.

"They are as baseless as they seem."

He went on to say that if Kevin deemed his children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to be in danger, he would have already taken action.

In addition, he added that the details of the lawsuit had been leaked to the media before it had even been filed with the courts, casting further doubt over the bodyguard's motives.
He told the Associated Press: "I think that the timing of this and the nature of the allegations speak for themselves."
